Assistive Technology in the Workplace
What is it?
In certain circumstances AT in the workplace involves providing the tools necessary for a person with disabilities to perform their job duties, but AT can also be used to enhance productivity and user experience for all individuals within their working environment. A braille embosser is an example of AT that only a few individuals would need, but an ergonomic mouse almost anyone would benefit from.
Who is for?
Everyone. It’s time to rethink AT in the workplace as a special needs, special circumstance solution, and begin considering the advantages it can provide to all your employees.
